Weed Barrier

We are constantly improving our Gusanito Worm Farm. We are currently in negotiation with a manufacturer of a weed barrier fabric. One day, the weed barrier fabric will be included with our Gusanito Worm Farms. Right now, it is up to you to find a fabric that can allow the worm casting liquid to fall into the Liquid Collection Tray. You could also use cheese cloth or even window screens. Most garden centers sell weed barriers by the foot. You need at least 16.5 inches X 16.5 inches of a fabric that will stop the worms or the casting from falling into the Liquid Collection Tray.

If you have Nightcrawlers in your Gusanito Worm Farm, you may want to put a barrier cloth between the roof and the top tray as well. They are called crawlers because they love to crawl.
